Dan Ward

Dan Ward is a Strategic Partner with Endurance Advisory, bringing more than two decades of financial services leadership to senior executives, boards, and governance forums. He advises organizations on enterprise strategy, merger integration, regulatory and operational risk, business transformation, and operating model design.

Ward has led complex change initiatives across people, process, technology, and digital capabilities, translating strategic priorities into disciplined execution and measurable outcomes. As an active leader in the fintech community, he brings practical insight into enterprise blockchain, AI-enabled business solutions, and emerging technology use cases.

Ward spent 23 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, holding executive roles in the Office of the CFO and the Broker Dealer. He was selected to lead the FleetBoston merger integration in 2004 and, after earning his Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification, joined the leadership team responsible for integrating Merrill Lynch in 2009. Ten of those years focused on regulatory compliance and operational risk management for complex banking and investment businesses.

After retiring from Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2015, Ward became a management consultant and founded Midwood Partners, a firm focused on transformative strategies for financial services organizations.

Ward holds an MBA in Corporate Accounting and Finance from the University of Rochester's Simon Business School and a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.
