Larry Gordon

Larry Gordon is Managing Director for Governance and BSA/AML at Endurance Advisory. He has spent more than 30 years in senior risk and compliance roles in financial services, including executive positions at Huntington Bank and Bank of America, working across all three lines of defense: customer-facing, compliance, and independent review.

Gordon designs and implements processes and tools that change how institutions identify and mitigate risk, and that improve business process and culture alongside them. His areas of expertise include strategic risk projects, fintech and banking-as-a-service platforms, the establishment of credit review and underwriting programs, portfolio management, OFAC sanctions compliance, BSA and AML, risk assessments, due diligence, and merger and acquisition reviews.

His underwriting experience spans financial services, manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, retail, and business and consumer services, including operating companies with international supply chains and global customer bases.

Gordon is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist with deep expertise in continuous improvement and Six Sigma. He holds an MBA from the University of Rochester and a BBA from the University of Texas.
